On the 1st and 2nd of July, auditors accredited by the LIFE certifying bodies – Tecpar and Control Union – participated in an update training on LIFE Certification system.
It was a very enriching moment for exchanging experiences between Tecpar and Control Union, allowing auditors to share experiences of real situations faced during audits. The participants had the opportunity of discussing the main documents that LIFE Methodology and certification are based on. While exploring the management software – LIFE Key, they solved their questions and debated about the evidence required to verify compliance with the principles, criteria, and indicators of LIFE Methodology during the audits.
“LIFE Key is a tool that facilitates the certification process, since the audit report is automatically generated by the auditor with the use of the software,” says Regiane Salata, LIFE Institute Management Technical Coordinator. “Having the report and the results on hand to present to the company soon after the completion of the audit makes it more responsive than other management systems,” she adds.
To become an auditor of LIFE Certification, the interested person must contact the accredited certifying body to verify the necessary requirements for being accredited. In addition, it is necessary to participate in the LIFE Methodology training offered by the LIFE Institute. The next training for professionals interested in the Methodology is planned for the first half of 2020.
