LIFE Institute and JTI are developing an environmental management project focused on the assessment of natural capital. The project started in 2017, when the company team was trained on LIFE Methodology. After that, a survey on the impact on biodiversity of tobacco production and processing was conducted, and the positive impact on biodiversity through environmental projects supported by the company was assessed.
