To give transparency to the Certification Development process and to LIFE, Public Consultations are carried out, which create opportunities for the participation of interested parties who wish to contribute to the refinement of the methodology.

The Public Consultation process lasts 60 days, wherein its access is available through our website. A second round of Public Consultations may be conducted if:

• The first one is not considered satisfactory in terms of the number of contributions and representativeness of the participants;
• Significant changes are made to LIFE Certification Methodology after the first round; or
• The Board of Directors of the LIFE Institute deems it necessary.

After the Public Consultation is complete, we publish a document entitled Feedback, in which the results of the analysis we performed are presented for each one of the contributions received during the Public Consultation process.
